Code @ Hootsuite

Behind the Scenes at Hootsuite: the technology, the challenges, the people

We love technology almost as much as we love being social. Hootsuite is proud to sponsor, attend, and contribute to events all around the globe, to meet our fellow tech folk, support and encourage those just starting out, and maybe pick up a trick or two along the way.

Past Events

  • The final Vancouver PHP Meetup of 2014 features Hootsuite’s Lead Engineer, Bill Monkman, delivering a talk on PHP At 5000 Requests Per Second: Hootsuite’s Scaling Story
  • Tuesday, December 9th, 6:30 – 8:15pm
  • Mobify Vancouver – 3rd Floor, 948 Homer Street

  • The Style and Class Conference
  • December 13, Goldcorp Centre for the Arts, Vancouver BC
  • Style & Class is for the designers and developers who build the web. It’s for designers who want to learn and share new techniques from concept all the way to execution. It’s for front-end developers who want to talk shop about HTML, CSS, and creating great experiences. Most importantly, it’s for people to get involved in conversations about cutting edge design methods, brand new development techniques, and brilliant experiments in user theory and interaction strategies.
  • Buy tickets now! Tickets are only $20 and all profits will be donated to Ladies Learning Code, a Canada-wide not-for-profit group working to empower everyone to feel comfortable learning beginner-friendly technical skills in a social, collaborative way.

  • DevOpsDays Vancouver 2014: The Conference that brings development and operations together.
  • November 14 – 15, SFU Harbour Centre, Vancouver BC
  • DevOpsDays is a grassroots event for folks in the field connecting, sharing war stories, advice, ideas, and tools relating to DevOps.
